Gabby Cataldo

  • Teacher Assistant

Gabby Cataldo is currently a sophomore at Elon University pursuing a double major in Dance Performance & Choreography and Arts Administration with a minor in Business Administration. She has been dancing since the age of three, training in various styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, musical theater, and hip hop. Gabby’s hometown is Jamison, Pennsylvania where she spent ten years competing with her studio and received numerous title awards and scholarships. During her training, she spent six years assisting at her studio and worked with ages three to eight years old. At Elon, Gabby has performed under faculty Jiwon Ha, Casey Avaunt, as well as guest choreographer Maurice Watson.

Throughout her whole life, dance has always been an outlet for emotional expression and personal growth. She has always be drawn to the challenges of dance but also the ability to be a part of a community. Dance will forever be a large part of her life and hopes to continue professionally following college. Gabby’s goal is to use both majors to one day open her own dance studio in the future. She is very excited to be joining Miss. Kim’s community and can not wait to bring her passion to the students.
