Ashlea grew up in a small town in Canada where she started dancing at the age of 4 at her mother’s dance school. She began teaching ballet, tap, jazz and creative movement at the age of 17. She attended Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto, where she earned her degree in Musical Theatre. There she trained with various choreographers including, Faye Rauw, Marc Kimelman and Linda Garneau. After college she continued to teach on and off until having children 5 years ago. She is excited to get back in the studio and share her love of dance at Miss Kim’s.

She currently lives near Saxapahaw with her husband and 3 wonderful children.
