Denise Bungardy
Miss Denise is the cheer program director at Miss Kim’s. She is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to NC in 2016. She is currently married and works as an occupational therapist with ABSS. She has three children Grayson, Lyla and Amira. Amira and Lyla are currently dancers at Miss Kim’s and love it! She started cheering when she was 10 years old for her elementary school and from there her passion for the sport continued. She competed with her elementary school and high school. In college she coached a local all star cheerleading team and then owned an all star competition team for 13 years. She also started a cheer team for children with special needs so she is a big fan of the Our Time to Shine program at Miss Kim’s! She loves everything about the sport of cheer and has dedicated countless hours to train athletes to reach their personal and team goals. Providing young athletes with not only technical skills, she believes that instilling integrity, courage, honor, strong work ethic, and strong self-esteem are virtues to possess on and off the mat.
