Dedicated Ballet Program at Miss Kimโs
At Miss Kimโs, our Dedicated Ballet Program is designed for young dancers who show a growing passion for ballet and are ready to begin more focused classical training.
This program introduces dancers to the discipline, artistry, and structure of traditional ballet while continuing to nurture their love for dance. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, dancers begin developing stronger technique, musicality, alignment, and performance quality in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Many of the dancers you see performing in our ballet productions began their journey right here, learning the foundations of classical ballet while building confidence, work ethic, and a deep appreciation for the art form.
How to Join the Dedicated Ballet Program
New dancers interested in joining our 2026โ2027 Dedicated Ballet Program (Ages 8โ11) begin by participating in our Summer Ballet Session.
This summer training period allows dancers to become familiar with our teaching style, expectations, and class structure before entering the full program in the fall.
Summer Session Requirements
To be eligible for the 2026โ2027 Dedicated Ballet Program, dancers must:
- Register for the Summer Ballet Session
- Attend at least 6 of the 8 summer classes
- Attend at least 2 of the 3 August Nutcracker Intensive Workshops
This process helps ensure that dancers are prepared, confident, and excited as they transition into more focused ballet training.
