I combined two weeks of "Movers of the Week" since I had to miss Wednesday due to my Grandmother passing away. Thank you for your thoughts and your prayers during this very sad time. I even had two little girls tell me that they were sorry that my Grandmother was in Heaven. One little girl told me that my Grandma might see her Nana there. What a sweet moment that was.

My movers of this week and last week in the boy's class are Gabe and AJ. Gabe is a quiet little boy that hardly ever says a word but is always participating with his moves. His smile is so contagious. When he "wakes up" from Miss Puffy he smiles so big and looks at his friends. Gabe also enjoys the Bear Hunt and parachute. Next is AJ. AJ loves to talk to me and tell me everything about his day. (Mommies......this is a great since all I can get from my 15 and 12 year old after I ask what they did that day is "nothing"or "not much".) So I listen to every word he says. AJ let me know today that it hurts when he does Miss Puffy. I told him that was great since that means he is doing in correctly. We stretch our legs and touch our toes. Maybe I will tell them next week to get Daddy to help them! AJ also told me that he was going to wear short sleeves from now on since we get really hot in movement class.

My movers of the week in my 2 and 3 year old class are Lauren and Cameron. Lauren's first class with me started with tears and her wanting Miss Alcon....Miss Alcon....Miss Alcon. Now she runs to me with a huge grin and hugs me so tight around my neck. This is the best feeling for a teacher. To see a little one grow and enjoy something so much is so rewarding. Lauren sings and dances to all the songs. She loves to do Hickory Dickory Dock and stretch her legs. When we packed a picnic she made me laugh telling me her favorite food was Ruffles. Next is Cameron. She has become so active in the class. She participates in all the activities now and really seems proud of herself. She even wanted me to watch her do a step today. Cameron loves Miss Puffy and putting her toes in the water. She has made me really proud.

My movers of the week for my tap and ballet class are Isabel and Reagan. Isabel is such a special little ballerina. She listens so well and wants to be the first to show me what she can do. She has perfected her arabesque. She really likes to shake her biscuit to our tap song. Isabel loves to twirl her skirt when she does her turns. I noticed that she got a haircut today and that little comment seemed like it made her day.....she gave me a huge smile. Next is Reagan. Reagan is my little lady. I have taught her how to clap like a lady after she dances her ballet. She lets me know that her and her Mommy do lots of our steps together which I think is just great......remember I have three big boys at home! They want to show me how to stand and block like an offensive lineman.....enjoy it Reagan's Mommy! Reagan loves to shuffle step and boogie. She works so hard to earn a Miss Kim hug, twirl, and dip......which she has won several times now.

Keep watching for Wednesday's movers of the week.....wonder who it will be?
