Thank you Happy Kerns for adding my program to Olde Forest Racquet Club!

Today was an extra special day for three little girls. They walked into the room with their eyes wide open anxiously awaiting for what was going to happen next.....one was a little nervous but amazed me in the end and let her personality shine through.

We started class by painting our rainbow and making it as big as we could. We sang and danced to If You're Happy and You Know It and got in the Barney Car. We went on a picnic and put in our special blanket. We marched to the park, laid out our blanket and got ready to eat.....then we saw ANTS! We had to chase them away over and over. Next we learned how to do a burpie......Cheeseburger French Fry! The girls really surprised me doing this perfectly the first time. I then put flower seeds in their hands and guess what.....the Silly Miss Kim asked everyone if they brought a shovel to class.....and nobody did! So, we had to figure out a way to dig holes in the ground without using a shovel. We used our heels! We watered our flowers and danced and sang Mister Sun. We got in Miss Kim's frying pan and had ooey gooey oil all in our hair.....yuck! We popped like popcorn (skipping) and Miss Kim ate them up....yum yum. Next, Miss Puffy flew in and we put her on our shoulders. Miss Puffy flew out of a hole in the ceiling.....who knew that Miss Puffy lived at Olde Forest too? We stretched our muscles and worked on a lot of gross motor skills. We then opened up our books and read some stories.....close it! We learned first position and plie'. Miss Kim always says "No Ugly Bottoms"! It was time for the parachute and all the girls popped the bubbles like a pro. The girls then got underneath and went on a hot air balloon ride....so much fun! We learned how to say goodbye in ballet and clapped like ladies. Wonder what Thursday morning will bring?

Thanks Miss Kim for introducing Caroline to dance in such a fun way! It made me smile to open the page and see my little girl! We'll miss you this week.
