First Presbyterian CDC is such a wonderful place to be. When I walk in the door the atmosphere is always so happy. I started my day gathering my little two and three year olds. The followed me to our special room and guess what.....ALL LISTENING EARS WERE ON TIGHT! I even had one little girl say to me "don't touch Miss Kim's cd player". I wanted to just cry right there....all children want to be good.....I know this. We just have to give them the rules and stick by them. All children want to please and it shows in my movement class. They got right on my carpet and we went to town moving and grooving. We sang and danced to all our favorites. We even jumped over the tree today which is so much fun. Sometimes we had to crawl. We ended our session with the parachute and popping bubbles. I want everyone to know just how proud I am of this very young group. I have 11 in this class and they do such an amazing job. We can form a line, a circle, almost skip (just a few can), jump, crawl, crab walk, hop on one foot, and stretch our legs. We can also dig holes, tap away ants, and do burpies. More than anything we have fun and giggle while we do it!

My boys were ready to go and we marched like soldiers all the way to class. We boarded a pirate ship as soon as we got there. Arrrgghh matey! We set sail and explored the ocean, dropped the anchor, swam from sharks and alligators, and dug in the sand and found the buried treasure! We then practiced our jumping jacks and burpies to Lazy Town.....wheww.....I was tired but they kept on going. We jumped and crawled under the tree and over the tree. We went on a bear hunt and even stretched our legs with Miss Puffy. The boys left sweating so I know for a fact some much needed energy was released. I snuck them to a water fountain and let them all drink....Miss Michaels saw me and just smiled at me! Guess what Mommies....I cannot say no either! ?

My older tap and ballet girls were great at usual coming in ready to start dancing. They are so proud when they are walking down the hall....they tell grown-ups...."we are going to dance class". We did our Hokey Pokey then started on our new dance that we want to showcase. We worked on a very hard tap step....ball change. We babysat for baby Annabelle and when we put her to sleep we would try on high heeled shoes! We would choose a different color every time. When we would have one on baby Annabelle would wake up and we would have to rock her. We fed her and burped her, it was so much fun. In ballet we reviewed all of our steps and worked on jete' which the girls love to do. Daddy duck called and we went fishing. We ended our day with the parachute and popping bubbles. We also made a mushroom with the parachute.....it was hot under there! Good Job Girls!
